spooky nightmare

It was mid September. We were going to my uncles place in Goa. We were about to visit the temple of village Deity. We parked the car near a small hill and started walking towards the temple. On the way I saw many reptiles along the side of the road. I was a bit surprised by the same.

we then reached near the temple but instead of going inside the temple we started to move around the temple looking at the different stuff kept for sale in small stalls. Maa and my younger brother Sai were purchasing some toys for our cousins. Daddy was taking khaje (dough sticks dipped in jagerry). I was standing in the middle of the two shops and was starring at a shadow of a spider which could be seen on a shops wall. suddenly mom told that Sai was feeling sleepy so we must go to my uncles place. Daddy told Maa to take Sai to my uncle's place and me and himself would come after a while. Maa and Sai then left.

As soon as they left we started to feel bored. So we decided to go. We went walking near our car. On the way we saw a big mansion decorated with lights. I don't remember seeing it on our way towards the temple. Nor had I seen it any time else in the village. Daddy was surprised by seeing the mansion and wanted to go and see what was the reason for such wealthy decoration. I was a bit scared so I told him not to go in but he didn't listen to me and went inside the gate. I stood near the gate but went running behind daddy as soon as I realised that i was standing alone on the empty road in a creepy silence. Daddy smiled at me as i reached towards him.

When we reached near the front door we came to know that there was a Halloween party going on inside. I was confused by knowing that it was a Halloween party as that village has only Hindu population. There were people dressed as creepy characters in side the hallway. Daddy went in but I did not , I waited for him near the door. I saw daddy entering into a door towards the left of the hallway. I could see him entering the room from a big window situated left of the main door. The room had a weird decoration done and had a big LCD placed in the middle of the room. Daddy went and stood beside a man who probably had dressed up as a Frankenstein. The LCD was showcasing a GIF of a man eating his hand. I was scared by looking at daddy who was laughing at the same and that too with the Frankenstein. i got more scared when they lied on the floor laughing and holding their stomach.

this was the time when i saw a woman walking towards me through the front door. She was a tall and fair lady wearing a faded pink gown, white gloves and a big pink tiara which was holding her golden yellow hair. she reminded me of old french queens. She was walking towards me counting her fingers and was staring right into my eyes. She was counting her fingers but no sound was coming out of her mouth i could only see her lips say 'ONE,TWO,THREE' 'ONE,TWO,THREE' and she was coming closer and closer to me. I got terrified and called daddy but for my scariest surprise no words came out of my mouth just like the lady. I got too scared. I was trying to shout so hard that my throat started to hurt but not a single sound came out. Now the woman was standing right in front of me. i don't know from where i gathered some courage and shot my elbow in her face........" The hand which i had raised to hit that lady actually hit my beds upper wooden design and i was awaken from my terrifying nightmare. Though my hand was hurting badly I was glad that it was just a nightmare. To check whether i really did not loose my voice i called Maa who was sleeping beside me and got a good scolding from her for waking her up at midnight.
